Stopping by to see how life with Lia is going. She is absolutely adorable and I love her big smile! I loved loved loved GZ, I could vacation there once a year. Enjoy your China time, it goes by so fast and then you miss it. Your family is beautiful!
Steph and Chris...every morning we have enjoyed looking at your blog. ESP. Reagan! She is loving the pics of Lia and all the girls. You are almost home. Reagan has been cleaning out her closets with lots! of hand me down clothes (may take a few years for Lia to wear them since she is so petite but they are still yours if you would like) and some toys for Lia that we would like to offer you all when you get home. Again Reagan is just thrilled to see her each morning.
Steph I love that pic above of you and Lia I see that she your eyes and Chris I think she has your smile. I have also noticed in all her pics that she loves her tongue. I remember that with one of my kids. So funny to watch them with that.
So glad you have your baby girl in your arms. You guys will be home SOON! Safe travels. Again thanks for taking the time to share your adventure with your blog ( I know how time consuming it can be).
Take care, Love Olivia and Reagan. And hope to meet Lia in person soon.
We can hardly believe that after over 3 1/2 years, we have been to China and are back with our daughter. Lia was born on September 6, 2008 and spent the first 10.5 months of her life in the Chenzhou Children's Social Welfare Institute in Hunan, China. We travelled to get her in July, 2009. When we started this process so long ago, we had no idea how our lives would change while we waited for this baby. Our greatest blessing has been the gift of Jackson into our lives last year. Life hasn't gone as we planned but has turned out to be better than we could have imagined. This journey has been a wonderful reminder of God's goodness and faithfulness and has taught us that He is the Creator of familes - bringing us together in His perfect timing! So now that we're home, our days are spent enjoying all that we have and trying to figure out life with two little ones and our dog Adi! Our house is louder, busier and more chaotic than it has ever been - but it is also full of love and laughter. We wouldn't have it any other way! So follow along in this adventure which is our life - Going Barefoot ....
